What operating systems are supported?

Microsoft Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8 and 8.1 (in desktop mode), Windows 10, and Windows 11.

What are the minimum requirements?

Processor: 1 Gigahertz
RAM: Same as for installed version of Windows
Hard Drive Space: Up to 1 Gigabyte (depending on support modules that need to be installed such as .NET 4.8)
Screen Resolution: 1400 x 939

What are the limitations or restrictions when using the trial version of Key Minder?

The trial version expires after 30 days and disables applying access passwords to Key Minder files and reports cannot be customized.

The basic version disables applying access passwords to Key Minder files and reports cannot be customized.

Can both a password to open a Key Minder File and a password to edit a Key Minder File be used at the same time?

Yes, they can. Passwords are optional and the user can specify one or the other or both passwords.

Are there tutorials that can help me learn how to use Key Minder?

Yes, there are. Anywhere in the application, press the F1 key and then click on the "Tutorials" entry in the "Contents" tab to get a categorized list of available tutorials. Tutorials are also available in chapter 2 of the Key Minder User Guide.

Can multiple users work on the same Key Minder all at one time?

Key Minder was not designed to support multiple users all having the same Key Minder file open at the same time. While Key Minder will not alert you to this situation unexpected results may occur.

How many computers can I install Key Minder on?

The trial version of Key Minder can be installed on an unlimited number of computers. A purchased license entitles a single user to install Key Minder on two computers.

I lost my license key, how can I get it again?

Send email to Support@BobolinkSoftware.com requesting your application license key. In the email please include the license key ID found in the application license dialog and either the email address that was used when Key Minder was purchased or a copy of your purchase receipt.
